These workshops can be provided in multiple settings for professionals, students, parents/caregivers, pastors, etc. and can be provided in house or in community settings!

GENERAL COMMUNITY WORKSHOPS

Mission of Hope provides topical mental health workshops for all ages in multiple settings in the community. Each workshop provides practical tools that can be applied immediately!

COURAGEOUS PARENTING WORKSHOPS

Courageous parenting seeks to equip parents to lead their children by meeting fundamental needs, setting healthy boundaries, and thriving in difficult conversations. Clinicians assist parents and children in identifying these concepts and providing unique interventions to facilitate authentic connections and positive relationships.

  • Fundamental needs of childhood and adolescence

Healthy leaders impact healthy work environments which foster a healthy community!

Leadership workshops equip attendees with practical mental health and communication tools to maintain and foster mental health in various workplaces such as businesses, non-profits, churches, schools, etc.

MENTAL HEALTH IN MINISTRY WORKSHOPS

Pastors and leaders in the church are desperately needed partners in the mission of decreasing the mental health crisis! Mission of Hope equips church leaders to see themselves as an integral part of the team bringing the hope of Jesus into the mental health needs of individuals and families in churches. Attendees will gain practical resources, assessment tools, worksheets, and handouts!

Although surrounded by people much of the time, leaders often experience great loneliness. Hard decisions are misunderstood or unpopular, your schedule inhibits time for meaningful connections, the weight of your responsibility feels heavy, friendships with employees can be complicated, venting at work could be detrimental, policies have to be followed, progress has to move forward. While leadership is a privilege, it comes with a great cost. Yet you do not have to lead alone!

Attendees will:

  • Identify and shift mindsets that sabotage connection

  • Create a practical plan to be intentional with managing loneliness in AND outside the office

  • Gain skills to grow question asking that increases connectedness

Kids Grief Group

This 5 day group is for 1st-5th grade students who have experienced the death of a loved one. They will learn ways to process and cope with grief through expressive arts, stories, and sharing. This group provides a way to express feelings and honor the memory of their loved one through fun and meaningful activities that celebrate their loved one’s life!

Building Up Kids: Battling Big Emotions

This exciting 5 day group for K-4th grade students offers a unique experience of creativity mixed with learning for kids utilizing Interlocking bricks! They will learn healthy ways to express emotions, coping strategies and build confidence. Blending the creativity of interlocking bricks with various physical, social and emotional learning activities provides a great atmosphere for kids to learn while they create!
