These workshops can be provided in multiple settings for professionals, students, parents/caregivers, pastors, etc. and can be provided in house or in community settings!

Courageous parenting seeks to equip parents to lead their children by meeting fundamental needs, setting healthy boundaries, and thriving in difficult conversations. Clinicians assist parents and children in identifying these concepts and providing unique interventions to facilitate authentic connections and positive relationships.

Pastors and leaders in the church are desperately needed partners in the mission of decreasing the mental health crisis! Mission of Hope equips church leaders to see themselves as an integral part of the team bringing the hope of Jesus into the mental health needs of individuals and families in churches. Attendees will gain practical resources, assessment tools, worksheets, and handouts!

Women's Winter Workshop: Hope For Anxiety, Perfectionism, & Identity

Regardless of age, we worry over the what-ifs, ruminate over negative internal dialogue, fear failure, and wonder if we are enough. This winter women's workshop will provide a powerful combination of God's truth, practical skills, and hope-filled processes to address these common battles! Women will gain helpful tools and learn about the confidence God provides to live whole and holy!
Presented by faith-based counselors, attendees will:
Gain education about how God has wired their brains and minds
Be equipped with practical coping, thinking, and action strategies to manage anxiety and perfectionism
Learn to refine and replace inaccurate thoughts with evidence and truth about their real identity
Be courageous to live out of God's best for them!

Conflict in families is normal and has the potential to grow us closer. However, often conflict between parents, parents-children, siblings results in unhealthy patterns, relationship strain and an undercurrent of stress in the home. Come gain practical tools for navigating family conflict in ways that foster a healthy environment and intentional growth!
Parents and Students will gain:
Education on the impact of conflict in the body and brain
De-escalation strategies to engage self-control during conflict
Tools to get curious and listen to the other person’s perspective as well as feel heard
Fair fighting techniques to work through the conflict to resolve and repair the relationship
Parents will gain parenting tools while students gain skills in a separate intentionally engaging group, all coming together at the end to create a healthy plan forward to navigate family conflict well!

Summer is coming!! While there is great excitement about time off from school, vacations, and swimming, summer can also bring new challenges into families. The school year routine is off, schedules are often changing, sibling conflict is more prevalent, and increased time at home means more vigilance for parents to instill healthy habits.
Parents and Students will gain:
A process for summer schedules that provides predictability and fits your family
An understanding of the need for balance between tasks, having fun, relaxation, relationships
A plan for consequences that promote healthy boundaries and structure
A “Summer Bucket List” for personal accomplishment and shared memories
Parents will gain parenting tools in one group while students gain skills in a separate intentionally engaging group. Parents and students will come together toward the end to share learning and create a mentally and relationally healthy Summer Plan!
